FAQS
What is team stacking?
Team stacking is a strategy of having 2 or more players from the same team to gain an extra star for one of those players. This means you'll get to roll one additional dice for the starred player from the stacked team. You can stack multiple teams to increase your chances of scoring big.
When can I trade players?
Trading players and tokens with other managers is allowed and encouraged. If you find a unique opportunity to uplevel your team while also offering value to an opposing manager, start negotiating!
What is an auction draft?
An auction draft is a method of selecting players for your Huddle team. Instead of taking turns, players bid on players using a fixed budget. The highest bidder acquires the player, adding excitement and strategic depth to the draft process.
What happens if there is a three-way tie for the championship?
In the case of a three-way tie, all three teams compete in a single championship round. Follow the usual weekly routine, including News Alerts, Free Agency, and The Game phase, to determine the final winner.
What if I run out of Waiver Wire chips during the season?
If you run out of Waiver Wire chips, you can no longer bid on players during the Waiver Wire phase. You'll need to manage your existing roster for the remainder of the season. You will be able to pick up players from the Free Agency pool that other Managers drop off their roster right before that weeks games start. After that, those players are returned to the player pool.
What happens if I can't field a complete lineup due to injuries or News Alerts?
If you're unable to fill a position, you will roll zero dice for that position during the matchup. Use Free Agency or trades to fill gaps in your roster before the next week.
What happens if two managers bid the same amount during the draft or Free Agency?
There can be no tie bids during the draft or free agency. If a player bids 3 tokens for a player, the next bid has to be 4 or more. The first player to put their bid down has the initial right to that player.
